Free crime

I hope there is a such a thing as free crime, although some of Declan Burke’s regular blog readers have been emitting suspicious noises over the boy’s latest escapades. He is now publishing his next/latest/first novel on his blog in installments. I don’t know what to call it. It’s his latest, in so far that it’s now that we get to read it. But I believe it’s also his first; the one that he has just retrieved from his drawer and dusted off.

Anyway, the title of this work of art (hmm) is A Gonzo Noir, and as his regulars began to enjoy it, they also started worrying that one day when we were all hooked, he’d stop and ask for money. He claims he won’t.

As you can all venture across to Crime Always Pays at no extra cost, I don’t need to go into too much detail here. The plot appears to be about a hospital porter who will blow up the hospital, after helping a few patients die prematurely. Did I also mention that this is a funny story? It’s clearly all in the worst possible taste.

For those few of you who really know me, the fact that the porter’s name is Karlsson, will add an extra dimension of amusement.
