Bookwitch

Sally wins

July 2, 2009 · Leave a Comment

While the witch gallivanted south to Birmingham on Saturday, Sally Nicholls most likely crossed paths with her en route to Bolton, where Sally proceeded to win this year’s Bolton Book Award for Ways to Live Forever. Well done!

There is an article in the Bolton News, with a photo of Sally and the local judges. And on the website of the Bolton Literacy Trust you have the shortlist, as well as the names of those authors who were present on Saturday. Glad to see that Zizou Corder made it, but I do wonder which half of her? If I’d not been otherwise engaged, I would have been there, and could have told you.

It can’t be possible to have too many literary events, can it?
